A 4-day music tour of Nashville by our van
A long weekend that does Nashville properly: the Opry live, a backstage morning at the Ryman, Studio B, and a songwriter night away from Broadway.
Seats for the live broadcast, as it has gone out since 1925.
Backstage at the Ryman
The daytime tour of the Mother Church of country music.
RCA Studio B
The original console, the lights set the way Elvis liked them.
A songwriters round
The writers behind the hits, playing them in turn.
Broadway with a guide
The honky-tonks worth your time, with a tour leader who played them.
After dark
Every evening has a show, and Broadway, Printers Alley and the Station Inn are within reach after it. Your tour leader stays out as long as anyone wants.
Traveling solo
Nashville is easy alone: bars with no cover, bands that talk to the room. We pair solo guests with roommates on request.
Your tour leader
Wade Pruitt, based in Nashville. Played bass in Lower Broadway bands for six years and has led our Nashville and Austin groups since 2018.

Good to know before you book
Pace. Easy. Short walks and plenty of sitting: shows, studio tours and the van.
Good to know. An easy pace with short walks. Bluebird Cafe seats are released online a week ahead and are never certain; the songwriter night moves to another listening room if we miss them. Opry lineups are confirmed about two months ahead.
Weather and changes. Shows and studio visits run in all weather; if a venue cancels, we replace it with one of the same kind and tell you in writing.
Flights to Nashville
Most of our guests fly in on their own, drive, or use miles, and the tour price does not include flights. If you would rather we handle it, we book round-trip economy flights on scheduled airlines to Nashville and back, and the airport pickup on the tour dates is already included.

Nashville: four days in Music City: your questions
Activity
Easy. Short walks and plenty of sitting: shows, studio tours and the van.
Group size
Up to 14 guests with one tour leader and a driver.
Meals
Breakfast daily and 2 dinners.
Age and ID
Adults only. Bring a photo ID: many clubs check it at the door whatever your age. More in our questions.
Which night is the Opry?
Friday or Saturday on most dates, Tuesday or Wednesday on a few; we confirm the lineup about two months ahead.
Are we guaranteed the Bluebird Cafe?
No, its seats are released online a week ahead and go in minutes. If we do not get them, the songwriter night is at another listening room of the same kind.
Can I add a day trip to Muscle Shoals?
Yes, our Muscle Shoals day trip from Nashville fits before or after the tour.
Is it noisy downtown at night?
Broadway is loud until two. Our hotel is a few blocks away, and we ask for rooms away from the street.
A long day south to the two studios where Aretha, Wilson Pickett and the Rolling Stones recorded, with lunch in Florence and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
Nashville, Florence, Memphis, Clarksdale, New Orleans
Ten days down the road from Nashville to New Orleans, with the studios of Muscle Shoals, Sun and Stax, two nights in the Delta and three in the jazz city at the end.
